Remarks: Looking for a tutor to teach unit conversion style questions in Sec 4 Express E-Math and Physics. Student is currently doing a part time Diploma in Applied Science (Industrial Chemistry and Life Sciences) at Singapore poly. Currently in year 1.
She needs a tutor who is familar with unit conversion in scientific calculations. She don't mind travelling to the tutor. The course she is taking requires a lot of unit conversions that are in sec 4 E-maths and physics.( e.g. Unit conversion questions - convert from 1 unit to another unit).The tutor only needs to teach her in conversion topics found in sec 4 Physics and E-Maths. The following are samples of the questions the students need help with:
1. Express 329 K in the other units of a) °C, b) °F, and c) °R.
2. A process fluid is heated from 80 ºC to 135 ºC. What is the temperature increase, in units of a) K and b) ºF
3. Express a pressure of 3.5 bar in the units of a) Pa, b) kPa, c) atm, d) psi
She took her O Level 10 years ago. she is not able to recall most of O Level math and physics. Hence she need a tutor to help her.It is a long term assignment.
