Tutor Preference: Female, Chinese

Remarks: The client is looking for a female Chinese tutor for pri 3 English, Math, and Chinese. No need to teach new content. The tutor is to monitor and guide the child to finish their homework. Also to complete the assigned work by the client. The client is a schoolteacher. When the client comes home, the client will go through the work that has been done.

Job Requirements for a Tutor:

1. Homework Assistance:
• Review the student’s handbook to identify the homework for the day.
• Guide and support the student in completing the assigned homework.
2. Basic Teaching Tasks:
• Help the student memorize times tables (e.g., table of 3).
• Teach and practice spelling and dictation with the student, if required.
• Read Chinese short passages with the student and ensure understanding.
• Assist the student with any assigned tasks.
3. General Guidance:
• Provide simple guidance in basic Math and Chinese as needed.
• Accompany the student and ensure they stay on task.
4. Bag Preparation:
• Help the student pack their bag for the next school day according to the timetable.


Note: The role focuses on supporting and accompanying the student rather than providing in-depth teaching.
