Remarks:
We are urgently looking for an english teacher. Client has a 10 year old PRC child whose english proficiency is probably below the level of Singapore Pri 1. We are looking for a tutor to teach the boy English from zero. The boy can't understand or speak english at all. Client requests for prospective tutor to confirm the child's proficiency level using a test on the first lesson. (tutor is to design the test)
Parent has plans to enroll the child in local school in future but definitely not now or in near term.
We are looking for someone who is demonstratedly good in English language. Someone with an academic track record of scoring an A in English. Tutor must also be bilingual so she can translate between English and Chinese. The teacher must be able to help student make sense of the english grammer.
If successful, this is a long term assignment. Tutor needs to be patient and has experience teaching PRC kids who totally does not speak, write or read english..
